Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking Building Code Officials in Chester County, PA, to perform commercial and residential plan reviews and inspections.

This role offers flexible scheduling and a collaborative environment with municipalities and the public across south-central Chester County. Responsibilities include conducting reviews, ensuring code compliance, addressing issues with owners/contractors, and assisting municipalities with enforcement.

Qualifications

• Current ICC and PA L&I–verifiable residential or commercial certifications.
• At least 5 years of construction experience.
• Commercial Mechanical, Plumbing, and Energy certifications.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial and residential building plan reviews and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and Pennsylvania UCC requirements.
• Work with property owners and contractors to address code issues and recommend necessary corrections.
• Assist municipalities with building code enforcement and compliance.
