SAFEbuilt is seeking a talented Building Inspector to join our Adams County area team in Pennsylvania. You will perform field inspections during various stages of construction, review plans and specifications, and report violations while maintaining records.
The role requires PA UCC or ICC Building Inspector Certification, strong knowledge of local codes, excellent communication, and a valid driver's license; we offer competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, paid holidays and time off.
Qualifications
- PA UCC or ICC Building Inspector Certification(s) required
- Additional PA UCC or ICC Inspector Certifications strongly preferred
- Experience in municipal code inspections preferred
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record required
Responsibilities
- Perform field inspections during various stages of construction
- Read and examine plans and specifications when required
- Report violations and maintain files/records
- Perform other related duties as required
