Job summary

SAFEbuilt seeks an On-Call Building Inspector to perform field inspections across Somerset County, PA. You will review plans, identify code violations, and document findings while coordinating with stakeholders in a dynamic field role.

Requirements include PA or ICC Certification and a valid driver's license; PA/ICC licenses are preferred. On-site inspections, excellent communication, and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• PA or ICC Building Inspector Certification required.
• Additional PA/ICC inspector licenses are strongly preferred.
• Municipal code inspection experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during various stages of construction.
• Read and examine plans and specifications when required.
• Report violations and maintain files/records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
