Job summary

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a certified breast sonographer to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and report findings in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. You will ensure room readiness, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with physicians to provide accurate preliminary interpretations.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS Ultrasound certification with breast imaging credentials, have CME compliance, and can work independently in a busy sonography lab within a clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography.
• ARDMS certification in Ultrasound.
• ARDMS or ARRT Breast Certification is desired; breast imaging experience a must.
• BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
• Active ARDMS certification for the specialty.
• Maintain CME requirements for specialty as appropriate.
• Self-starter who can work without daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment for examinations per safety protocols.
• Ensure patient safety during the sonographic examination.
• Review patient history and supporting clinical information.
• Verify that the order is complete and medically necessary.
• Perform and document diagnostic breast sonography examinations.
• Provide preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.
• Maintain patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA policies.
• Assist with daily operation of the sonography facility.
