Job summary

Hertz is seeking Automotive Technicians in Des Plaines, IL with a passion to service vehicles. Earn $37.75 per hour as you maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform inspections.

You’ll work with a team, use lifts, alignment machines, scan tools, and other shop equipment. Required: three years of experience, high school diploma or trade school, ASE certification preferred; valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least three years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Ability to repair vehicles independently and in a team.
• Experience using lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure quality service.

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Trade School Preferred
• ASE Certified

Professional Experience:

• At minimum three (3) years of vehicle maintenance experience

Knowledge:

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs without oversight
• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes:

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
