Job summary

Meritus Health is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to serve Washington County Public Schools in Hagerstown, MD. You will deliver hands-on care, injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation for student-athletes in a fast-paced school setting.

The role requires NATA BOC certification and Maryland licensure or eligibility, a CAATE-accredited degree, and 1–2 years of experience preferred. Salary range and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• NATA BOC certified and licensed (or license-eligible) in Maryland.
• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited CAATE program.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services for athletes in Washington County Public Schools.
• Review medical conditions with the team to develop plans for prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, care, rehabilitation and reconditioning.
• Maintain records of injuries and write reports following company documentation protocols.
• Communicate progress with internal and external partners and guide continuum of care.
• Work in a fast-paced, hands-on sports environment.
