The Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) - PRN at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) provides PRN athletic trainer coverage for local affiliate teams and community events, under supervision of physicians and allied health staff.

This role requires a BS/BA, BOC certification, SC licensure, and weekend/evening coverage; 4 scheduled hours weekly with hourly pay. MUHA participates in E-Verify and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited college with a BS/BA. (Master's degree in Athletic Training preferred).
• Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) and Licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the SCLLR Board of Medical Examiners.
• Must be able to adjust communication both verbal and non-verbal to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide variety of age groups including school age adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
• Weekend and evening hours to cover practices, games, tournaments, and special events.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited college with a BS/BA. (Master's degree in Athletic Training preferred).

Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) and Licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the SCLLR Board of Medical Examiners.

Must be able to adjust communication both verbal and non-verbal to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide variety of age groups including school age adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Weekend and evening hours to cover practices, games, tournaments, and special events.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
