Job summary

Premise Health in Princeton, IN is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer – Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist to support client employees at our Health Center. Hours are Monday–Friday, 9:15 AM–6:00 PM, with flexibility based on needs.

The role requires a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, plus hands-on basic life support training and ergonomic/OSHA knowledge. Competitive salary and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer is required.
• CPR/BLS; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• Experience in occupational health and ergonomics preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement early intervention programs with musculoskeletal exams and injury-prevention education.
• Perform ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and advise preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement and injury prevention.
• Coordinate care with on-site medical and safety teams.
• Document assessments and outcomes timely and accurately.
• Maintain health records and participate in meetings and task forces.

As a full time Athletic Trainer – Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you’ll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Princeton, IN. The scheduled hours are Monday – Friday, 9:15AM– 6:00PM. We are happy to consider alternative hours based on your needs.

$7500 Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
• Participate in meetings and task forces
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
