Job summary

Team Rehabilitation is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive athletic training services at partner schools and clinics across Michigan. You will evaluate injuries, deliver rehabilitation plans, and work with athletes to prevent injuries while promoting high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes outreach, continuous learning with paid mentorship, CEU time, and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Graduate from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program.
  • Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Strong communication skills to triage athletes for care and build relationships.
  • Commitment to Team’s DEI initiative and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and evaluate injuries.
  • Provide first aid or emergency care.
  • Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
  • Plan and implement programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
  • Serve as an Athletic trainer in an outreach position at a large high school.
  • Maintain and strengthen Team Rehabilitation affiliation relationships.
  • Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, games and scrimmages.
  • Deliver high-quality care and ensure patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

What You\'ll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Recognize and evaluate injuries.
  • Provide first aid or emergency care.
  • Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
  • Plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
  • Serve as an Athletic trainer in an outreach position in a large high school
  • Responsible for maintaining and strengthening Team Rehabilitation affiliation relationships
  • Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, assigned games, and scrimmages
  • Providing excellent health care for our patients. Patients should achieve good outcomes and be happy with their experience of physical therapy.
  • Helping to develop protocols for the most common diagnoses we see
  • Participating the research studies supported by the clinic
  • Experienced or interested in work conditioning
  • Responsible for continuing to develop their own skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Graduate from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program
  • Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer
  • Strong communication skills to manage the triage of athletes for further care and in developing relationships with the athletes, parents, coaches and school personnel
