Job summary

Usphysicaltherapy2 seeks a certified Athletic Trainer to deliver sports medicine services at high schools and community events. You will educate athletes and families on injury prevention and rehabilitation, and liaise with coaches, parents, and physicians.

Applicants must be NATABOC certified and licensed in the state of practice, with strong EMR/software skills and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining compliance with TN laws and TSSAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certified Athletic Trainer (NATABOC) and TN state licensure are required.
• Experience coordinating with coaches, athletes, and physicians is desirable.
• Strong computer skills including EMR, databases, and MS Office are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide sports medicine services at high school and community events.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques.
• Act as liaison between coaches, athletes, parents, and physicians.
• Maintain compliance with state laws and practice guidelines for Athletic Trainers.
• Support a positive team environment in clinic and outreach settings.
• Keep treatment areas, equipment, and supplies clean and organized.
