St. Bonaventure University is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time appointment reporting to the Associate Dean for Student Life. The university orthopedic doctor supervises the trainer. This position will work directly with a full time trainer and the university's 18 club sport teams and varsity men's rugby program.
Responsibilities: Successful candidate will be able to assist with the supervision, coordination, and implementation of the University's overall sports medicine program, including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Other responsibilities of the athletic trainer include but are not limited to: keeping accurate and current medical records for assigned sports and administrative duties as assigned by the Associate Dean for Student Life. This position will assist in Wellness Programming for the teams and campus community.Provide daily health care of student-athletes while maintaining athletic training room operations including setting up and breaking down patient modalities, stocking supplies, monitoring equipment for maintenance and inventory

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate area of specialization.
Previous college athletics experience preferred.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
