Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technologist for Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This full-time day-shift role includes on-call responsibilities; occasional night, weekend, or holiday work may be required.

You will maintain anesthesia equipment, assist with invasive monitoring, and help prepare IV fluids and arterial access. Join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team to support patient care with a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• ASATT credential required prior to hire or transfer date.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date or transfer date (AHA or Red Cross).
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service anesthesia equipment: cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, calibrating and testing; record inspections.
• Operate equipment used to monitor and manage anesthesia; assist during emergencies.
• Prepare anesthesia IV fluids, insert IVs, set up arterial lines and invasive monitoring.
• Assist the Anesthesiologist with peripheral nerve blocks and emergencies.
