Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City seeks a day shift, full-time Certified Anesthesia Tech to join the Cardiovascular Surgery Unit.

You will prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, stock carts, assist anesthesiologists and nursing staff, and perform point-of-care testing.

Graduate of accredited program with ATC certification, strong English communication, and willingness to support transplant call rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program.
• Cer. A.T.T. certification.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, maintains and stores anesthesia machines and equipment in the areas where anesthesia is delivered; transports machines as needed
• Stocks the anesthesia machines with drugs/drug trays that are supplied by pharmacy, materials, and supplies; stocks anesthesia carts
• Provides for the cleaning and/or decontamination of the anesthesia machine, equipment, and supplies
• Ensures appropriate processing of reusable items
• Makes continuous rounds during assigned shift to provide assistance to the anesthesiologists and to the nursing staff in the management of patient care
• Prepares invasive lines used by anesthesiologist
• Performs Point of Care testing
• Rotates Organ Transplant call
• May retrieve and transport medications

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the surgery department
• 6 months of organ transplant experience
