Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Certified Anesthesia Tech for a day shift (0900-1730). This full-time role supports anesthesiologists and nursing staff, maintaining anesthesia equipment, stocking drugs, and handling specimens and calls as needed.

Qualified candidates will have graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technician program and Cer. A.T.T. certification, with 6 months in a surgical/transplant setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program.
• Cer. A.T.T. certification required/preferred as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, maintains and stores anesthesia machines and equipment in the areas where anesthesia is delivered; transports machines as needed.
• Stocks the anesthesia machines with drugs/drug trays supplied by pharmacy; stocks anesthesia carts.
• Provides for cleaning and/or decontamination of the anesthesia machine, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensures appropriate processing of reusable items.
• Makes continuous rounds during assigned shift to assist anesthesiologists and nursing staff in patient care.
• Prepares invasive lines used by anesthesiologists.
• Performs Point of Care testing.
• Rotates Organ Transplant call.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
