Ascension in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Surgical Technician for the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The role supports sterile and non-sterile instrument prep, assists surgeons by passing instruments, and helps with patient positioning and draping.

The position requires BLS certification within 1 month of hire and one of several NBSTSA/NCCT/AST credentials. A high school diploma with relevant experience or an associate/technical degree is required. Call duties may occur outside regular hours.

Formación

• Requires BLS provider certification within 1 month of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Surgical Tech credential from NBSTSA, NCCT (TS-C), or AST (CST) prior to hire date.
• Education options include high school diploma with experience or an associate/technical degree or 4 years of applicable experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hands required instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor instrument counts during procedures.
• Assist surgeons with achieving hemostasis during surgery.
