Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and guidance to individuals facing various challenges, including mental health issues, trauma, and behavioral health concerns. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions. The Counselor will play a crucial role in promoting the well‑being of clients while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence‑based practices.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients.
• Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to assist clients in managing their symptoms.
• Offer support for clients dealing with PTSD and other trauma‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay updated on best practices in clinical counseling and behavioral health.

Things to keep in mind

• This is intensive community‑based work.
• Pay for CADC depends on your case load, you can make $32k $100k annually.
• It is a non‑paid Orientation/Training for 1 day (MANDATORY).
• We do not pay for mileage.
• Group is a 2/3 times a week (each session is 1012 Consumer's max).
• Office Locations: Group will be held at the office closest to you; our locations are Durham, Wilson, Washington (NC), Greensboro, Ayden, Elkin and Charlotte.
• Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
• Flexible schedule within the specified days and hours.
