AVIR Health Group in Grapevine, TX is seeking a qualified Certified Activity Director to lead the Activity Department in a skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate has an Activity Director certification and prior nursing home supervisory experience, with a passion for creating a resident-centered culture and coordinating engaging programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Activity Director for LTC/SNF.
• Activity Director Certification preferred.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local standards and facility policies.
• Lead resident-centered activities and staff to foster engagement and safety.

Education

The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state, local standards, guidelines, regulations, and our established policies and procedures.
