AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Certified Activity Director to join our family and lead the Activity Department in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and directing activities in line with regulatory standards and our policies.

New grads and walk-ins are welcome daily. The ideal candidate will have Activity Director Certification and prior nursing home and supervisory experience, with a commitment to building a positive facility culture and resident

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing home settings is preferred.
• Experience supervising teams is preferred.
• Certification as Activity Director is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Activity Department to meet standards and policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines as well as facility policies.
• Collaborate with leadership to foster a resident-centered culture and teamwork.

We are searching for an Certified Activity Director that is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state, local standards, guidelines, regulations, and our established policies and procedures. If you are team-oriented, driven, and excited about the opportunity to care for our residents, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Must be a certified Activity Director for LTC/SNF.
