Job summary

Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Certified Activity Director to lead the Activity Department in our LTC/SNF setting. You will plan, organize, develop, and direct activities that enhance resident well-being while ensuring regulatory compliance.

We value team players who build a caring culture and engage residents meaningfully. New grads and walk-ins are welcome daily; certification is preferred and prior nursing home supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Activity Director for LTC/SNF (preferred).
• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current standards and policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local standards and regulations in activity programming.
• Foster a resident-centered culture and build a strong, collaborative activity team.

We are searching for an Certified Activity Director that is resident and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state, local standards, guidelines, regulations, and our established policies and procedures. If you are team-oriented, driven, and excited about the opportunity to care for our residents, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Must be a certified Activity Director for LTC/SNF.
