Qualifications

Certified Tutor: Georgia PSC-approved bachelor's degree required.
Non-Certified Tutor: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of three years of experience working with children.
Certified Tutor: Valid Professional Standards Commission-certified certificate at level T-4 or above.
Non-Certified Tutor: None.

Responsibilities

Provides tutoring to small groups in the Academic Skills Center.
Collaborates with Lead ASC Tutor and staff to identify resources and strategies.
Helps students set and monitor personal goals.
Guides students with appropriate activities, resources, and supports.
Monitors student behavior to create a safe learning environment.
Models appropriate social and interpersonal behavior.
Prepares written materials and maintains progress records.
Communicates progress with teachers and families.
Participates in professional learning sessions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
