Job summary
International Motors, LLC in Lisle, Illinois seeks a Project Engineer with Certification and Compliance experience to drive regulatory data acquisition for new and existing model development programs.
You will support pre-production and post-production activities, coordinate emissions documentation, and represent the company in industry and regulatory meetings, ensuring testing schedules align with evolving requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science with 2+ years in design/development or CS experience
- Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science with 1+ year in design/development or CS experience
- PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
Responsibilities
- Provide regulatory guidance to the group and organization
- Process/document/standardize the certification process
- Prepare emissions documentation and reporting per CFR/CCR or applicable agency
- Represent International Motors at industry and regulatory meetings
- Certification & Compliance representation at program team meetings
- Lead efforts to adapt new or evolving testing requirements into test schedules
