Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serves as a Vehicle Emissions Compliance Inspector for IEPA: Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance (VIM), Field Operations.
• Conducts compliance reviews of contractor-provided services.
• Responds to inquiries from contractor staff, Agency staff, motorists and the public about the emissions testing program.
• Uses Agency guidelines for emissions standards and test procedures.
• Performs other duties as required within the scope of the job duties.
