Job summary

Allfast Fastening Systems LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Quality professional for an on-site, hourly role in California. You will perform clerical duties within QA, input inspection data, and prepare certification packages for shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Prefer two years of college or technical coursework.
• Experience in manufacturing quality roles is a plus.
• Ability to perform data entry accurately and review input for correctness.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs various clerical and administrative functions within the Quality Assurance department.
• Performs data entry of inspection and certification data.
• Prepares necessary certification packages for each job shipped.
• Reviews sales order documents to ensure proper certification packages are prepared.
• Investigates and resolves customer certification or re-certification requests.
• Maintains certification database.
• Maintains certification files and miscellaneous Quality Assurance department files.
• Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety policies.

Qualifications

COMPETENCIES:

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Other Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to successfully work with customers. Ability to perform data entry with accuracy and to review input to ensure data is correct.

Education And/Or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two (2) years of college preferred. A minimum of two (2) years similar experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $18.00-$20.00
