Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver respiratory care modalities to patients as ordered by physicians, including oxygen, humidity therapies, airway clearance, and ventilation per policy and national standards.
Requirements include an Illinois CRT license with 2+ years of critical care experience, CPR, NRP, and DCFS Mandated Reporter certification; ACLS/PALS are highly recommended.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides Respiratory Care modalities to patients as ordered by physicians, including but not limited to the administration of respiratory related medications, oxygen and humidity therapies, airway clearance therapy, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, etc., in accordance to established policy and procedure and based on accepted national standards, practices and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
CRT Licensed in the State of Illinois with 2 or more years of Critical Care experience.
Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Certified by the American Heart Association in ACLS and PALS, highly recommended.
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
Personal

Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
