Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care modalities to patients as ordered by physicians, including oxygen, humidity therapies, airway clearance and ventilation monitoring with supervision.
The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, completes clinical rotations in a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapist program, and maintains CPR and DCFS Mandated Reporter certifications.
Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Practitioner provides Respiratory Care modalities to patients as ordered by physicians, including but not limited to the administration of respiratory related medications, oxygen and humidity therapies, airway clearance therapy, in accordance to established policy and procedure and based on accepted national standards, practices and regulatory requirements. Invasive & non invasive ventilation monitored in conjunction with preceptor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
High school diploma and one semester of clinical rotations with Pharmacology from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapist program, as determined by the Committee of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARRC)
Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
