Job description

As a Territory Sales Account Executive, you will be part of a team transforming the way restaurants operate. Using a consultative approach, you will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurateurs in your local area. By understanding their unique needs, you will develop customized solutions to help their business thrive. We need your passion and sales expertise to help us build the Toast brand in your geographic territory.

This is a field sales opportunity based out of a personal home office. You must live locally to Cerritos, CA, or be willing to relocate to the area.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close (experience with self-sourcing clients is a plus)
  2. Conduct demos and develop solutions that meet the prospect's needs
  3. Partner with teams across the business to ensure expectations set during sales are met in delivery
  4. Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
  5. Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market
Do you have the right ingredients?
  1. 1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a related field
  2. Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
  3. Proven success in meeting and exceeding goals
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment
  5. Self-motivated, creative, and flexible
  6. General technical proficiency with software

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (preferred but not required)

The estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range for this role is $129,000 - $206,000 USD, including base salary, commissions, and potential equity and benefits. Starting salary depends on skills, experience, and location. This role qualifies for uncapped commissions.
