Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cerner Lab Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium's Laboratory modules such as PathNet, RadNet, and Orders Results. You will play a key role in the implementation, optimization, and support of laboratory workflows within the Cerner environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and configure Cerner Lab modules (PathNet General Laboratory, Microbiology, Blood Bank, etc.)
• Support integration of lab systems with other Cerner and third-party systems (e.g., instruments, LIS)
• Collaborate with clinicians, lab staff, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Develop and execute test plans, validation, and change control documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and enhancement requests
• Assist with data migrations and go-live support
• Provide end-user training and createdocumentation as needed

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Cerner PathNet and lab-related solutions
• Experience with orderables, results, specimen collection workflows, and analyzer integration
• Familiarity with Discern Rules, CCL, and front-end configuration tools
• Understanding of HL7 interfaces and instrument interfacing tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills
