Responsibilities:
System Configuration: Configure and maintain the Rx module to meet the needs of the healthcare organization.
Workflow Optimization: Analyze and optimize pharmacy workflows to improve efficiency and patient safety. Coordinate with the Integration analyst to pass on system requirements for Rx workflow. Knowledge of HL7 is mandatory; experience with FHIR is a plus.
Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support to pharmacy staff, troubleshoot issues related to the Rx system. Proficient with Rx workflows such as Pharmacy and Robot Orders, Pharmacy Charges, Cart fill orders, Bin load/unloads of pharmacy cabinets.
Training: Train pharmacy and clinical staff on the effective use of the Pharmnet module. Knowledge of other Rx systems like Omnicell, Pyxis, or McKesson Rx is advantageous.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Pharmnet with other Cerner modules and healthcare systems.
Data Management: Manage medication data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
