Job summary

NGK Ceramics USA, Inc. in Mooresville, NC is seeking an SSH Inspector I to perform dimensional inspection and ISO testing on fired ceramic products. You will set up lines, verify gauges, document data, and ensure conformance to customer specifications while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CRC certification a plus, and at least 6 months in manufacturing/warehousing. CRC Bronze or higher is preferred; training may be provided on site.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all required job training.

Responsibilities

• Set up line using the Final Inspection Record (FIR) and gauges.
• Verify gauges and dimensions against the Verification Sheet; confirm calibration dates.
• Retrieve and deliver products to staging areas; perform start-up procedures.
• Inspect parts visually and by measuring/weighing to confirm customer specifications.
• Record inspection data in company information systems and package approved parts.
