Job summary

NGK Ceramics in Mooresville, NC is seeking an SSH Inspector I for the 7:30 am - 7:45 pm F Shift (2 on 2 off weekends). You will measure, weigh, visually inspect and package fired ceramic products and operate the ISO testing process to ensure products meet specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up the line with FIR, verifying gauges, recording data, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety procedures; no supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRC Bronze or above preferred.
• 6 months manufacturing/warehousing experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to communicate information clearly in one-on-one and small groups.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package fired ceramic products using FIR data.
• Verify gauges and dimensions against the Verification Sheet.
• Record inspection data and input into information systems.
• Ensure adherence to customer specifications using measuring gauges.
• Operate ISO testing equipment and perform setup as instructed.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and comply with safety procedures.
