Job summary

Alpha Resources is seeking entry-level workers for its ceramics production team in Michigan. You will be trained to operate presses, inspect products, and assist with packaging ceramic crucibles for firing. The role supports quality checks and ongoing manufacturing processes in an essential industry.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and good communication skills. Lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for periods are required; reports to the Ceramics Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Basic communication skills are required
• No prior experience is necessary; company will train
• Ability to stand, lift up to 30 lbs, and move around as needed

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures to maintain ISO compliance
• Inspect and package ceramic crucibles per procedure
• Operate presses to produce ceramic products
• Inspect greenware for visual defects and verify critical dimensions
• Pack crucibles into saggers for firing
• Perform additional duties as requested
