Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating or repairing ceramic kilns.
• Experience in ceramic or glass studio environments is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read technical documentation and manuals.
• Familiarity with warranties, returns, and replacement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely troubleshooting for Skutt equipment by phone, email, and video.
• Diagnose issues with kilns, wheels, controllers, and electrical components.
• Guide customers through setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Recommend products and replacement parts based on needs.
• Explain technical solutions clearly to customers with varying experience.
• Maintain records of interactions and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues and collaborate with internal teams.
• Contribute to FAQs, guides, and support resources.
