Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Core Injection Mold Machine Operator to run ceramic core injection molding equipment for aerospace components. You will set up machines, inspect cores, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Work involves rotating areas, training during onboarding, and contributing toProduction goals on third shift with a $3.00 shift differential. This role supports manufacturing with strict safety and 6S practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 3+ months of manufacturing, machine operation, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English and follow work instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safe operation of machinery and tooling.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
• Ability to monitor machine performance and detect issues.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to perform visual inspections.
• Good hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive, precise tasks.
• Teamwork and commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, and operate ceramic core injection molding machines and tooling.
• Produce ceramic core shapes through the injection molding process.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections to verify product quality.
• Complete core forging operations and prep cores for thermal processing.
• Rotate between work areas as needed and monitor equipment.
• Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support production goals while adhering to safety and 6S standards.
