Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Core Injection Mold Machine Operator to operate ceramic core injection molding equipment used to create precision ceramic cores for aerospace components. This role supports production by operating machinery, performing inspections, preparing cores for processing, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The position offers 1st shift, Monday-Friday 5:00a-1:00p, and comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 3+ months of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Clear English communication (speaking, reading, writing).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safe machinery operation.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
• Ability to monitor machine performance and identify issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform inspections.
• Good hand dexterity for repetitive precise tasks.
• Commitment to safety, procedures, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, and operate ceramic core injection molding machines and tooling.
• Produce ceramic core shapes through the injection molding process.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections to verify quality.
• Complete core forging operations and prepare cores for thermal processing.
• Rotate between work areas as needed.
• Monitor machine operation and identify quality or equipment issues.
• Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support production goals while adhering to safety and 6S standards.
