Job summary

Midwest Assistance Program, Inc. (MAP) seeks a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead mission delivery, oversee budgets, and drive strategic growth across nine-state service areas.

The CEO will manage staff, ensure compliance, and partner with RCAP and funders, while representing MAP to stakeholders and communities. The role requires substantial nonprofit leadership experience, board collaboration, and a commitment to rural and tribal infrastructure improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or 8+ years leadership experience.
• Five years in a non-profit with upper leadership role and governance knowledge.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors and governance structures.
• Experience securing grants and managing partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and manage staff, operations, budget, resources, and succession plans.
• Oversee contracts, grants, and compliance, and report to the board.
• Plan and implement program development and strategic initiatives.
• Lead fundraising, advocacy, and public relations efforts.
