Job summary

Based in CA, you will train on-site at Concord, Palm Desert, or Sacramento locations while advancing toward an Executive Director role with potential salary growth and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare (MBA/MHA preferred).
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience in healthcare.
• Strong track record of building and leading successful teams.
• Ability to create a vision and drive results.
• Must obtain any required state licensing during the CIT program (varies by state).

Join us in making an impact and shaping the future of post-acute care!About the Opportunity:The CEO-in-Training (CIT) Program is designed to prepare outstanding leaders for the opportunity to lead one of our home health or hospice agencies. This salaried, full-time training program typically lasts 3–6 months, depending on your background and experience. CITs may advance to oversee one of our thriving agencies or a future acquisition, with continued mentorship and operational support from experienced Pennant partners.As a CIT, you will gain hands-on practical experience in operations, clinical care, and business management under the guidance of an experienced Executive Director/CEO. The program offers mentorship, cross-functional training, and real responsibility in a dynamic environment.
