Job summary

Trinity River Authority of Texas seeks a General Manager to lead the organization. You will oversee water and wastewater treatment, reservoir operations, and regional planning.

This on-site role reports to the Board and requires navigating regulatory and financial challenges to deliver reliable wholesale services. The General Manager will guide executive teams, manage a multi-hundred-million-dollar budget, and drive long-term risk mitigation, workforce continuity, and community collaboration

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive leadership in a multi-facility utility or public infrastructure entity.
• Executive responsibility for a large operating division with budget, workforce, and capital results.
• Working knowledge of regulatory compliance in water resources and environmental management.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operations, programs, services, and resources of the Authority.
• Lead development and execution of the strategic plan and report progress against goals.
• Prepare and recommend annual operating budget and multi-year capital program.
