Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Familiar with and ability to use hand tools.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and tool use.
• Familiar with power tools and measuring devices.
• Able to operate computer systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lb, occasionally 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks to support assembly and test of industrial machinery and compression equipment.
• Read and apply method sheets, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and materials.
• Operate pneumatic and hand tools as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment; create work orders for repairs.
• Load/unload equipment using fork trucks and hoists.
• Work in a team and assist others; suggest process improvements.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; follow regulations.
