Job summary

Webrecruit in Taunton, MA is seeking an adaptable candidate to join our busy automotive retail centre. The role emphasises superb customer service and meeting sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, an excellent communicator, and experienced in busy retail automotive settings. Hours Monday to Friday with salary dependent on experience; benefits include a Nest pension, life assurance, staff discounts, wellbeing support and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive best service and care; keep complaints to a minimum.
• Achieve all sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the centre and equipment.
• Increase sales of products and services.
• Recruit and interview all centre employees.
• Identify training needs for staff to progress within the company.
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle.
• Support other centres when needed.
• Adhere to company policies including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control.

Job description

Hours:
The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

Salary:
Dependent on experience

Holiday: 20 days per year, plus statutory holidays

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
• To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
• Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle
• Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
• To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• Liaise with Head Office and other Departments
