Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a Centre Manager in Andover, MN to lead daily operations of our automotive retail centre. You will drive customer service, coordinate repairs, and manage staff to meet sales targets while maintaining a clean, compliant site.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in busy automotive retail, strong communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. Salary is dependent on experience; hours discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills in a busy automotive retail setting.
• Proven ability to manage workload autonomously and meet targets.
• Experience working in retail automotive environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive best service and care, keeping complaints to a minimum.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Centre and equipment continuously.
• Increase sales of company products and services per procedures.
• Recruit and interview Centre staff.
• Identify training needs for staff progression within the company.
• Carry out service and repair on vehicles as needed.
• Support other Centres when required.
• Adhere to company policies including Health & Safety and stock control.
• Follow instructions from management.
• Maintain clean, presentable uniform at all times.
• Coordinate with Head Office and other departments.

Hours:
The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

Salary:
Dependent on experience

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
• To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
• Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle
• Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
• To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• Liaise with Head Office and other Departments
