Summit Healthcare Association in Show Low, AZ is seeking a Coord Auth Verif for centralized scheduling. Responsible for verifying patient demographics, eligibility, and obtaining pre-certifications, referrals, and insurance authorizations to streamline care.

You will pre-register patients, monitor time-sensitive accounts, work with Allscripts, and refer complex cases to financial counselors. This is a full-time, on-site Day Shift role emphasizing high-quality customer service and HIPAA

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical terminology preferred.
Basic computer skills required; experience with patient registration preferred.
Two or more years in Patient Registration/Coordinator Authorizations and Verifications.
Cross training in two or more registration areas required.

Responsabilités

Register/pre-register patients and gather detailed information for care coordination.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility and obtain pre-certifications/referrals.
Notify payors and refer accounts to financial counselors as needed.
Handle time-sensitive accounts and monitor stat orders in a compliant manner.
Maintain HIPAA-compliant communication and professional demeanor.
