Job summary

AdventHealth Kissimmee is seeking an administrative support professional to join our faith-based health care team. You will support scheduling, patient records, and information flow on a day-shift in our Kissimmee, Florida facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 1+ administrative support experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Provide patients with information regarding appointments and preparations.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts promptly and efficiently.
• Promote high standards for quality and productivity.
• Call patients to complete appointment scheduling.
• Schedule patients for outpatient radiology, cardiology, and other procedures.
• Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and relevant clinical information.
• Verify the accuracy of orders and scan them into the medical record.
• Respond to calls and assist as assigned.
• Support other administrative duties as needed.

Job Description:

• Shift: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts
• Other duties as assigned.
• Resolves any scheduling conflicts or issues promptly and efficiently.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Provides patients with information regarding their appointments and any necessary preparations.
• Demonstrates and promotes high standards for quality and productivity.
• Calls patients to complete appointment scheduling.
