The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Accountant II for Centralized Receivables to ensure timely reconciliations with the accounting balances. You will support monthly closes, research discrepancies, and provide customer-friendly billing assistance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least two years in governmental or commercial accounting, plus strong Excel, reporting, and communication skills to serve campus departments effectively.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of governmental or commercial accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with databases and report writing; advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Reconcile Centralized Receivables to Accounting balances monthly and research discrepancies.
• Provide monthly aging debt analysis and update classifications.
• Produce accounting reports from IQ Author/Cognos and DEFINE receivables reports as needed.
• Assist with routine Returned Checks tasks and customer support for billing issues.
• Assist with monthly accounting close and daily journal voucher reconciliation.
• Act as backup for Scholarship Services and G5 draw process for Direct Loans.
