Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of governmental or commercial accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with databases and report writing; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile Centralized Receivables to Accounting balances monthly and research discrepancies.
• Provide monthly aging debt analysis and update classifications.
• Produce accounting reports from IQ Author/Cognos and DEFINE receivables reports as needed.
• Assist with routine Returned Checks tasks and customer support for billing issues.
• Assist with monthly accounting close and daily journal voucher reconciliation.
• Act as backup for Scholarship Services and G5 draw process for Direct Loans.
