Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Group Supervisor to lead the pharmacy team at the Central Fulfillment site in Irving, TX. You will coach, direct, and motivate staff, ensuring daily operations meet production targets and quality standards.

The role requires a Texas Pharmacist license, at least 3 years in central fulfillment or comparable pharmacy operations, and proficiency with MS Office. This is an onsite, salaried management position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Central Fulfillment, retail, mail order, or closed-door Pharmacy experience.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Texas.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for cross-training and in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for all activities of the functional teams and leaders.
• Fully understands the roles of each functional team and how they should work together.
• Responsible for appropriate triaging of issues and escalations.
• Continuously develop process improvements for personnel management, production line efficiency, and overall workflow.
• Work closely with PIC and general manager to facilitate development, evaluation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all operational functions.
• Become a subject matter expert for production line software/hardware, as well as each functional role.
• Hire, train, motivate, develop, evaluate, and manage functional leaders and team members.
• Work well within a team environment with the General Manager, PIC, and other leaders at the site.
• Ensures site compliance for all federal, state, local regulations.
• Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Understands and complies with Best Practice Standards and execution by pharmacy staff when the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is absent.
• All activities related to the preparation, verification, dispensing and sale of prescription and pharmacy related products as needed.
• Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors as needed.
• Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper counting, conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions as needed.
• Serve in a leadership role for oversight and other visits.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
