Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Irving, TX is seeking a Pharmacist for the Central Fulfillment site to lead pharmacist verification in a closed-door environment. You will ensure accuracy of prescriptions, supervise technicians, and collaborate with the PIC/General Manager to guide the team while adhering to Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

The role is salaried exempt, with a typical 40-hour week and shifts aligned to 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Texas for a minimum of 1 year.
• A minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience or equivalent in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Pharmacist verification of prescriptions.
• Supervision of pharmacy technicians work as regulated by the Board of Pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy operations to achieve planned business objectives.
• Handle preparation, dispensing and sale of prescription and pharmacy related products.
• Assist in developing and implementing CF programs to meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume.
• Provide PIC updates on Pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal laws and company policies.
