Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Central Supply Technician to pick, stage, and deliver supplies and equipment to user departments under supervision.

You will verify items, operate pallet jacks, assist with mailroom duties, and help maintain a clean, organized central supply area. High school diploma and a NC driver's license required; hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplies to walk-in customers and ensure proper documentation.
• Process pick tickets and stage orders for delivery to departments.
• Deliver special orders and obtain signatures for deliveries.
• Break down pallets and store supplies in inventory.
• Verify items, manufacturer codes, expiration dates, and quantities.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to deliver supplies and equipment.
• Perform duties related to the facility’s mailroom.
• Communicate with purchasing, vendors, or requestors about inbound supplies.
• Attend to daily shift coverage and clean work area before/after shifts.
• Perform scheduled rounds and Stat runs as needed.
• Assemble specialty kits for restocking units.
• Other duties as assigned.
