Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini in Rhode Island is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator on a full-time basis with daily pay. The role supports resident care by managing medical supplies and coordinating transportation for appointments.

Candidates should be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook and have strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, processing orders, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure seamless operations.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and maintain the central supply area for easy access and efficient storage.
• Communicate with nursing staff and departments regarding supply needs and inventory concerns.
• Lift, push, and pull supply boxes and equipment as needed for stocking and inventory.
• Maintain records related to supplies and transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Central Supply Coordinator / Transport Assistant plays an important role in supporting both resident care and facility operations by ensuring medical supplies are readily available while assisting with resident transportation to and from medical appointments.

Responsibilities for Central Supply Coordinator:

• Maintain accurate inventory of medical and nursing supplies and ensure all nursing units remain properly stocked.

• Place and track weekly supply orders and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.

• Organize and maintain the central supply area to ensure supplies are clean, accessible, and efficiently stored.

• Communicate with nursing staff, nurse managers, and other departments regarding supply needs and inventory concerns.

• Lift, push, and pull supply boxes and equipment as necessary for stocking and inventory management.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supplies and transportation.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Central Supply Coordinator:

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook/email.

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull boxes, supplies, and equipment within the physical requirements of the position.

• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
