Job summary

Camelot Care Center in Logansport, IN is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator to manage inventory for medical and nursing supplies, monitor par levels, and place orders through approved vendors to ensure uninterrupted resident care.

You will coordinate ventilation and medical equipment, maintain labeling and storage per CMS and infection-control standards, track usage trends, and communicate with nursing, respiratory therapy, and administration to resolve supply issues.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with computers and Microsoft Office.
• General office equipment knowledge.
• Proficient use of written and verbal English.
• Positive, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels for medical, respiratory, and nursing supplies
• Monitor par levels and ensure availability of critical respiratory items
• Order supplies through approved vendors and manage backorders or substitutions
• Track supply usage trends and adjust ordering based on resident acuity and census changes
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies in compliance with CMS and infection control standards
• Coordinate maintenance, tracking, and availability of respiratory and medical equipment
• Respond to urgent supply needs to support uninterrupted resident care
• Maintain documentation and records related to inventory, ordering, and equipment tracking
• Communicate with nursing, respiratory therapy, and administration regarding supply needs and issues

About the Role:

Camelot Care Center is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator to-

• Maintain accurate inventory levels for medical, respiratory, and nursing supplies
• Monitor par levels and ensure availability of critical respiratory items (e.g., trach supplies, vent circuits, suction equipment)
• Order supplies through approved vendors and manage backorders or substitutions
• Track supply usage trends and adjust ordering based on resident acuity and census changes
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies in compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and infection control standards
• Coordinate maintenance, tracking, and availability of respiratory and medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, oxygen concentrators, suction machines)
• Respond to urgent supply needs to support uninterrupted resident care
• Maintain documentation and records related to inventory, ordering, and equipment tracking
• Communicate consistently with nursing, respiratory therapy, and administration regarding supply needs and issues

About you:

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• High school graduate or its equivalent.
• Experienced with computers and Microsoft Office programs (exceland word).
• General office equipment knowledge
• Proficient use of written and verbal English
