Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a part-time Central Supply Clerk/Unit Secretary. The role involves ordering nursing/medical supplies in alignment with the facility budget and resident needs.
Weekly pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with a schedule of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of clerical experience.

In this role, you are responsible for the ordering of nursing/medical supplies in accordance with facility budget and resident/patient needs.
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
Minimum one (1) year experience in clerical.
On-the-job training provided in scheduling and medical terminology.
Ensure adequate levels of nursing supplies are available for staff.
Collaborate with staff on purchasing of needed supplies.
Seek to meet all staff/patient/resident supply needs within scope of budgetary parameters.
Stock supplies.
Compare bills against packing slips to make sure that charges are correct.
Meet the clerical needs of nursing units, including organization and maintenance of medical records on nursing units.
Book M.D. appointments, x-rays, transportation, etc., when directed by Charge Nurse.
Maintain and document as necessary, in unit books, i.e., lab books, doctor’s memo book, unit calendars.
Thin medical records, replace forms systematically, pull medication kardex after the fifth of the month and maintain chart order.
File and order paper supplies as needed.
Maintain up-to-date list of residents orders due and notify DNS/ADNS on late doctors.
