Job summary

Sierra Post Acute in Lakewood, CO, is hiring for a Part-Time Central Supply role to manage inventory, orders, and stocking of supplies. You will help control budgets, engage with vendors, and support nursing staff with essential items to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in a post-acute or skilled nursing setting, a CNA license is preferred, and you must pass background checks and have CPR certification. English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplies and inventory for the building.

• Assist in other departments as needed and help maintain budget.

You would be joining a team of professionals committed to improving the lives of those they serve and those they work with.What to Expect:The Central Supply manages supplies and inventory of the building.Managing the ordering and stocking of central supply items (briefs, over the counter meds, gloves, gowns, etc.)Managing inventoryStocking the facility and organizing the inventoryCommunicating and managing the overuse of itemsIdentifying new products and systems that would benefit the nursing staff and facilityHelping in other departments as neededMaintaining a budgetMaintains good relationships with outside vendorsBasic understanding of contracts and ordering softwareSuccessful Candidates:Must have experience working in a post acute or skilled nursing facility - CNA license preferredMust possess, at a minimum, a high school education or GED, current CPR.Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background checkMust be able to read, write and speak the English language, be able to move intermittently throughout the work day, and have patience, tact and a cheerful disposition.
